Publisher and scope

Worth the Way is the publication name used for this editorial site. These Terms govern access to and use of worththeway.com. By using the site, you agree to use it in accordance with these Terms and applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

Editorial purpose

Worth the Way provides general editorial travel information and decision support. It is not professional legal, medical, financial, safety, immigration, or booking advice. Travel conditions change. Before acting, verify current rates, availability, entry and visa requirements, safety guidance, accessibility, opening details, and booking conditions with the relevant official source or provider.

No booking service

Worth the Way is not an online travel agency, booking engine, price-comparison service, travel agent, or merchant of record. It does not sell or fulfil travel, hold inventory, take booking payment, or control a partner transaction. Expedia or the relevant travel provider controls prices, availability, payment, changes, cancellations, refunds, and customer service. Your booking relationship is with the partner or provider under its own terms.

Affiliate relationships

Some outbound links are affiliate links. Worth the Way may earn a commission if you complete a qualifying booking through a selected link. That relationship is disclosed near commercial links and in the Affiliate disclosure. Commercial relationships do not determine editorial verdicts or Worth Index assessments.

Accuracy and decisions

We aim to publish clear, current information, but do not guarantee that every item is complete, accurate, or current at all times. Recommendations involve editorial judgment and may not suit every traveler. You remain responsible for your travel decisions, purchases, documents, insurance, safety, and compliance with local requirements.

External services

Third-party websites and travel services have their own terms, privacy practices, prices, and service responsibilities. A link does not make Worth the Way responsible for a third party's website, operation, content, or transaction.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, Worth the Way owns or licenses the site text, visual identity, design, and original editorial material. You may access the site for personal, noncommercial use and link to its public pages. You may not reproduce, sell, republish, or systematically extract substantial parts of the site without permission, except where applicable law permits quotation, criticism, reporting, search-engine indexing, or another lawful use. Third-party names and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site unlawfully, attempt unauthorized access, bypass security controls, misuse preview or internal endpoints, distribute malicious code, misrepresent your relationship with Worth the Way, or use automated requests in a way that materially degrades the service.

Availability and changes

We may correct, update, reorganize, or remove site content and features. We may update these Terms when the service, law, or commercial relationships change. The effective date at the top will show when revised Terms apply. Changes will not apply retroactively where applicable law prohibits that result.

Liability and mandatory rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Worth the Way is not responsible for losses caused by a third-party travel provider, a change in price or availability, a visitor's failure to verify current official information, or an indirect loss that was not reasonably foreseeable. This section does not affect mandatory consumer rights.

Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms deprives a consumer of mandatory protections available under the law that applies to that consumer. A dispute may be brought before any court with jurisdiction under applicable law. Before starting formal proceedings, contact hello@worththeway.com so that the issue can be reviewed and, where possible, resolved.

Severability

If a provision of these Terms cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
