How the desk works
The Worth the Way Editorial Desk develops source-led travel decisions from appropriate official information, credible independent reporting, structured comparison, and clearly identified original contribution when it exists. Its purpose is to make the reasoning, trade-offs, and limits of a recommendation understandable.
What the byline means
This is an organizational byline, not a fictional person. It does not claim that an unnamed writer stayed at a hotel, visited an attraction, or personally tested a service. Firsthand experience is attributed separately and only when it is genuine.
Editorial accountability
Desk work follows the same requirements for sources, image rights, verification dates, alternatives, commercial independence, and corrections as individually attributed work. When a structured Worth Index assessment requires a human approver, that accountability is recorded privately; the Editorial Desk cannot approve itself.
